Pattern library

Academia's sections are block patterns. Insert one from the + button in the editor, or from Appearance → Editor → Patterns, then edit it like any other blocks — a pattern is a starting point, not a locked component.

Everything below is generated from the theme itself, so this list cannot drift from what you actually have installed.

Section grounds

Sections alternate their background: explanation on the page ground, proof, prices and answers on the tinted one, with a full-bleed band to close. That is deliberate, and it is what makes a long page read as a sequence of sections rather than one column. If you insert several patterns of the same kind in a row, set one of them to the Soft background style from the block inspector to keep the alternation going.

Block styles

Alongside the patterns there are style variations you can apply to core blocks:

The Group and Column ones are section styles — they change the ground a whole section sits on, which is how the rhythm above is set.
